Built in 1989 and refurbished in 2008, the charming Courtyard rooms are full of character and have the added attraction that they open out either onto the shores of Lough Eske or with a view of the Blue Stack Mountains. There is a covered walkway from the bedrooms linking to the main reception. Featuring locally crafted wooden beds and furniture, these rooms are cosy and offer great value.

THE BLUESTACK MOUNTAIN LODGE
The Bluestack Mountain Lodge is set in the heart of the Bluestack Mountains in the Eglish Valley.
It has a cottage with one large bedroom and two beds above the kitchen annex, it also has a Bunkhouse that can sleep between 6-8 people.
The mountains are on the doorsteep and there are some fantastic granite climbs twenty minutes away on foot.
It really is a mountaineers paradise and it can be hired out on a Mon-Fri or weekend basis.
A full outdoor progam can be run, without transportation.

The Bluestack Centre is situated approx 8Km (5 miles) from Donegal Town and is ideally located for exploring this unspoiled countryside. The Bluestack Centre Hostel incorporates a luxury 28 bed hostel, complete with family room, dormitory accommodation and an en-suite special needs room, ideal for wheelchair users. Guests can relax and unwind in the TV lounge and fully equipped self-catering kitchen provided for their comfort, internet access is also available.
